Shirley & I went to school together. She has always been sweet and soft-spoken. We were able to catch up at our high school reunion 2 years ago, and I finally met her husband, Woodly, in person. I got so excited when Shirley reached out to me about doing maternity photos. If you know me, you KNOW I admire pregnant women. I'll say it for the millionth time: pregnant women are THE most beautiful creatures on earth. Exhibit A: Shirley's Maternity SessionBridgeport, CT I feel so happy when I spend time with a couple and I can just feel the love that they have for each other. Of course, I like to change things up a bit. I just so happen to follow A LOT of maternity photographers from Russia. They take the most beautiful images, and I aspire to capture pregnant women the way some of these photographers do. "I told myself, 'Let’s just take a test for the fun of it.' I was super nervous, my heart was pounding. When the test flashed pregnant, I was shocked. I wept in joy,  I was carrying life. This was a manifestation from God. I was excited on how I would tell my husband. In true fashion, I revealed it to him by reading him a poem I wrote."
