Larianne's 30th Birthday Shoot | Bridgeport, CT

Well, here we are. It's my 30th birthday, and I finally get to share these images from my birthday shoot. I have A LOT to say, ok? Please bear with me.

First things first, Isabelle is the realest. She took her time and beat my face within an inch of its life. I took a look in the little hand mirror and almost cried. And the lashes from EvoLuxe Beauty made me feel even more amazing. Eyeshadow palette by Jackie Aina, of course.

But wait! There's more. Isabelle then proceeded to surprise me with the fact that she knows how to do hair. Girl, whettt?? I bought 2 bags of braiding hair from Two Brother's, some rubber bands, and I picked up 6 hair pins from my bathroom. I had no idea how I was going to replicate the same hairstyle that Nupsie wore during her shoot 2 years ago, but I knew I wanted to try. Isabelle took over the entire thing and SLAYED me, hunty. SLAYED ME! So yes, I was really feeling myself.

Now let's talk about the photographer, Roody. Not only is he super cute, but he knows how to push buttons. Camera buttons, that is. We set up the lights, I posed with some direction from him (i.e., making sure I didn't look whack), and he perfectly composed the photos. So thank you soooo much, honeybunz. This literally would not have been possible without you.

Last but not least, this studio in Bridgeport is amazing. We were there from 7:30 PM to almost 12 AM. Ivan, the owner, gave us our privacy (which I CLEARLY needed haha) and the whole place was ours. I love it there!

Now let's talk about the fact that I'm now 30 years old. A whole adult. Wow.

Remember back in the day when we used to think that 30-year-olds were old? HA! If any teenager is reading this, let me tell you something. I'm in my prime. I got my Savage x Fenty on, I still like to eat lollipops, and I don't care too much about anyone else's opinion :)

This decade will be the one that I look back on and say, "Yeah, that's when I took life to the next level." We have so many plans this year, it's not funny. I'm not even going to hint at them because I've hinted enough on my personal instagram. I'll let you guys just sit back and watch the movie play out.

Believe it or not, I still have more to say.

Planning this birthday shoot was incredibly stressful. You know why? Because I had to figure out the props and balloons on my own. And that is why I take that stress away from you, friends. I don't want you to have to worry about your outfits, getting make up done, AND getting props & balloons together. You would hate the process!

When you book a birthday shoot with me, you have until the day of your shoot to decide on your outfits and fill our your questionnaire. Then Roody & I take it upon ourselves to figure out which props and what color balloons would work best for you. Then you sit in Isabelle's make up chair and let her beat your face to perfection. After that, it's smooth sailing because I'm literally a professional hype woman. And a decent photographer. I gotchu.

Alright, I think I've said enough. This was awesome, and I'll never forget this session for as long as I live. Now let's hope and pray that I'm at pregnant during next year's birthday shoot, because that is what I really want :)
