Roody and I spent more than the average amount of time figuring out the color scheme for Tornishia's balloons. Her dress was way too fly for us to allow her to look crazy, so colors mattered. I'm quite pleased with our decision. Red, coral, black, and silver might sound weird on paper, but loooook :)
And you already know I had to hand her one of our new drink props. Cheers, girl!
So yes, today Tornishia turns the big 3-0! From my experience, 30 is the decade of grown & sexy. And it looks like Tornishia is on the right path.
"I am looking forward to happiness, spiritual growth, and being the best version of myself while accomplishing all my goals. Taking risk and going out of my comfort zone.
-Tornishia Mom patiently stood on the sidelines and quietly cheered Tornishia on as we photographed her. She even gave us some posing ideas that looked amazing!
"I have an amazing relationship with my mom. She is my rock, we speak everyday. She was the perfect person to do my photoshoot with especially for all that she’s done and sacrificed for me."
I always love taking Mother/Daughter portraits in the middle of a session. This memory is something these ladies will be able to hold on to forever.
"My proudest achievement is being a social worker. Giving a voice to those in need, and educating them on what’s out there for them and their rights."
Ok, but let's get into this Blazer Dress. I think I need one in at least 3 colors. I love how the black pops against the brown. These colors are everything!
Happy 30th birthday, Tornishia! I'm so happy you stepped outside of your comfort zone to do this birthday shoot. You killed it!
